Who I am
My career is built on a deep curiosity about the world - a curiosity that has taken me across three continents and through diverse industries, from sports technology to architecture, retail, and broadcasting. I've been fortunate to learn the fundamentals of building and transforming businesses from incredible mentors, and my EMBA has provided a solid foundation with helpful new tools. This journey has given me a unique perspective on problem-solving, much like an anthropologist studying different cultures, a perspective I credit to my bachelor’s degree in languages.
But my story isn't just about business; it's about a passion for making a difference. Since 2020, I’ve been an angel investor in a startup that creates innovative, green alternatives for product packaging and shipping. I believe a world of abundance means no one should go without, which is why I’ve volunteered to pack and ship humanitarian aid to war-torn countries. This same conviction extends to animal welfare, where I’ve not only donated financially but also dedicated my time to a wildlife sanctuary in Bolivia to care for illegally trafficked animals.
My experiences have taught me that success isn't just about the bottom line - it's about the journey and how we lead. At companies like Veo Technologies and Social Soup, I learned that you can have fun at work without losing sight of what's important, even when the pressure is high. It’s about fighting for a company’s purpose while exercising humility and looking out for one another. I believe in leading with integrity and maintaining open, honest communication. My high school drama teacher once told me, "There is no such thing as a small role," and I've carried that belief with me ever since, understanding that even the smallest initiatives can have a powerful impact when done right.
I’m also an avid nature and sports enthusiast. You'll often find me hiking, playing tennis, running, or skiing. I've recently taken up windsurfing and golf, with a particular interest in links courses, which appeals to the climate enthusiast in me.

I’ve spent the last 15 years leading teams across three continents - in London, Sydney, Toronto, and Copenhagen. This diverse experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of business at every level, from the rapid pace of startups and scale-ups to the strategic operations of large corporations. This first-hand experience taught me that the key to thriving is not just about hitting targets, but about nurturing a great working culture and finding the right balance between digital efficiency and the human touch.
My approach is both hands-on and data-driven. I combine rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis with interactive workshop facilitation to untangle complex challenges and distill them into a clear, actionable business strategy. We will identify your unique needs and build a roadmap for success, whether it's optimising operations for operational excellence, shaping a resilient organisation and culture, or developing a comprehensive workforce plan.
Having led departments of over 100 people across multiple time zones, I know that scaling a business is as much about human connection as it is about process.
